The HA006-4X-10/16Q vortex-free energy-saving pump control valve is a hydraulic self-control device designed to regulate the operating characteristics of a centrifugal pump. It can control the following operating characteristics of a centrifugal pump:

1)Valve-closed Pump Start: This involves initiating the pump with zero flow first, followed by opening the valve. On average, it reduces the starting shaft power by 50%, ensuring equipment safety.
2)Valve-closed Pump Stop: The valve is closed first, and the pump is stopped when the pipe network flow velocity is zero. This approach prevents water hammer during pump shutdown, ensuring the pump does not reverse.
3)Unintentional Power Failure: In the event of unexpected power failure due to lightning induction or circuit faults, the control valve automatically gradually closes to stop the pump. This ensures that the water impact force is not greater than 0.3 times the working pressure, guaranteeing the safety of the pipe network.
4)Energy-saving: The valve body is vortex-free, resulting in approximately 25% energy savings compared to similar products.
5)Full-diameter Flow Channel Design: With a full-diameter flow channel design, the valve ensures the designed flow rate under various working conditions, achieving energy efficiency.
3.Working Principle
The water pump control valve utilizes compressed air as the driving source. Compressed air drives the piston for upward and downward movements. The piston, connected to the valve stem, is linked to a dynamically balanced designed valve disc, enabling the valve to open or close. The choice of compressed air as the driving source is motivated by its cleanliness, convenience of use, and the avoidance of the need for drainage channels in the pump room. This design helps enterprises address challenges related to the absence of compressed air on-site.

Main Structure
The overall structure of the water pump control valve is shown in Figure 1. For DN (nominal diameter) less than or equal to 300, it adopts a diaphragm-driven structure, while for DN greater than or equal to 350, it uses a piston-driven structure.
The term "vortex-free" is employed because the flow of water inside the valve body is asymmetrical, leading to radial or axial vortices of varying intensity. These asymmetrical vortices result in head losses. The product incorporates two design patents: the introduction of spatial guide blades within the valve body (see Figure 1, item 2), patented under number ZL 201120112733.6; and the patented internal structure, registered under number ZL 201230637749.9. The vortex-free patented technology effectively reduces vortex losses, increases back pressure, enhances the outlet pressure of the valve, and thus improves energy efficiency. Compared to similar products, it can save energy by 10% to 30%.
