Product Description
1.Product overview
The ZYC self-operated differential pressure control valve (also known as a pressure controller) requires no external power source. It automatically adjusts based on changes in the pressure of the medium being controlled, eliminating fluctuations caused by residual pressure and pressure waves in the pipeline. It maintains a constant pressure differential at the inlet and outlet, promoting system stability.
The self-operated differential pressure control valve is particularly suitable for sub-metering or automatic control systems.
2.Product characteristics
The valve is a double disc structure, the valve stem unbalance force is small, compact structure, used in heating (air conditioning) water system, constant pressure difference of the controlled system, and has the following characteristics:

3)the use of advanced technology diaphragm, theoretical error is zero, and can withstand 0.8MPa pressure difference;

5)when there is no independent adjustment within the controlled system, the valve has the function of self-operated flow control valve, the method of setting flow:
a,Adjust and control the size of the pressure difference;
b,Adjust the resistance of the controlled system;
6)with the function of eliminating blockage, when the control pressure difference is the largest, the valve is fully open, and the dirt blocked in the double valve disc will be cleared under the medium pressure, the method is to close the ball valve at the end of the pressure guide pipe for 3-5 minutes;
7)control pressure difference accuracy ±5.
3.Working principle of self-operated pressure differential control valve
The pressure difference control valve is generally installed on the user inlet return water pipe, and the pressure guide pipe under the valve is connected to the inlet water supply pipe. P1 is the water supply pressure,P2 is the return water pressure inside the valve, and P3 is the return water pressure outside the valve.
When the pressure difference △Pi (APi-P1-P2) in the valve is set as the pressure difference of the valve, the pressure P1 in the lower membrane chamber of the valve is balanced with the thrust generated by P2 and the compression deformation of the spring, so as to determine the flow cross-sectional area A and the flow coefficient of the fluid flowing through the valve. When the flow rate changes, the balance of the above forces causes the flow cross-sectional area A and the flow coefficient of the valve to change, but the △Pi remains unchanged.
When the fluid properties, pipe diameter and flow resistance coefficient are determined, the calculation formula of single pipe resistance can be approximately written as:

From the above formula, it can be seen that the pipeline resistance is proportional to the quadratic mass flow rate and the pipeline impedance. When the flow rate changes, the change of pressure P2 in the upper membrane chamber causes the spool to move up and down, so that A and the corresponding flow coefficient are changed to adjust the change of the total resistance of the system in the valve, so that △Pi basically remains unchanged.

7.Installation and debugging
1)the flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the direction of the arrow of the valve body;
2)the pressure difference control valve should be installed on the return pipe, the valve is connected with the pressure guide pipe, the other end of the pressure guide pipe is connected with the water supply pipe, it is recommended to install 1/2" ball valve at the water supply end of the pressure guide pipe, in order to start the blockage elimination function;
3)A filter should be installed on the water supply pipe before the pressure guide pipe to avoid the valve losing its automatic adjustment function due to poor water quality;
4)the water supply pipe and the return pipe before the valve should be equipped with pressure gauges, easy to adjust and control the pressure difference;
5)if it is found that the system flow is too large or too small, the possible reason is that the debris is blocked on the valve plug when the pipeline components are installed, the 1/2" ball valve can be closed for 3-5 minutes, then if it is a light blockage, it can be automatically eliminated, if it can not be eliminated, it is necessary to disassemble the valve to check and eliminate the blockage;
6)Control pressure difference adjustment method: Adjust the pressure regulating valve stem counterclockwise, observe the pressure gauge before the pressure difference is reduced by 0.01MPa, the control pressure difference is increased from the set 0.02MPa to 0.03MPa, and so on;
7)the valve working pressure difference is 0.02-03.03mpa, if the working pressure difference is found to be greater than 0.3MPa after installation, manual control valve should be installed on the water supply pipe to reduce the pressure difference of the supply and return water pipe at the heat inlet device,otherwise, the pressure difference valve may only work for a long time under small opening, will produce noise, and will greatly reduce the service life of the valve.
